Belinda Murrell

With a writing career spanning twenty years, Belinda has worked as a travel journalist, technical writer, editor, TAFE teacher and Public Relations consultant. Belinda has travelled extensively and her overseas adventures inspired her work as a travel writer for The West Australian newspaper and Out & About With Kids, a national travel magazine for parents. Her work has also appeared in newspapers such as The Sun Herald, The Sunday Telegraph and The Sydney Morning Herald.

Belinda’s first three books, The Quest for the Sun Gem, The Voyage of the Owl and The Snowy Tower were published by Random House as a part of the Sun Sword Trilogy. The first of Belinda’s time slip novels, The Locket of Dreams was published by Random House in 2009 followed by The Ruby Talisman in 2010. The latest, The Ivory Rose was published in 2011.
