Archie is an award-winning writer and comedian who has featured in a host of impressive stand-up competitions. He was a finalist in both the New Acts of the Year and English Comedian of the year in 2014. He was also the runner-up in the Amused Moose Laugh Off competition and the winner of the Bath New Act of The Year in 2014. In 2016, he took his debut show Shirts Vs Skins to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which received excellent reviews and followed with a tour of South Africa in 2017. His follow-up show, IlluminArchie, was loved by critics and audience alike and received a London transfer to the prestigious Soho Theatre in 2017 and VAULT Festival in 2018. As a writer, Archie has been produced at Bush Theatre, Lyric Hammersmith, Orange Tree Theatre, Royal Court, and the New Light Theatre in New York. In 2017, Archie was part of the BBC Writers Room London Voices and was selected as part of the prestigious 4Screenwriting course. He was also named as the writer in Residence at BBC Radio Drama London Production. Archie’s script Furies was on the Brit List 2019 and is being produced by Warp Films. Two of his radio plays have been produced for BBC Radio 4 - Blend, in 2019, and Domino, in 2020. Archie’s play A Place for We was produced at the Park Theatre. It was a huge success and received rave reviews:
