The Duchess of Malfi

The Duchess of Malfi is Elizabeth Freestone’s 2010 production of John Webster’s 1612 tragedy. It follows a young widow, the titular Duchess, as she marries a man beneath her social class and, in doing so, provokes her powerful brothers into exacting bloody revenge.
