Ella has since gone on to become a regular on BBC One’s Call the Midwife as novice nun 'Sister Frances'. Further credits include All Creatures Great & Small (Channel 5), Back To Life (BBC One), Genius: Picasso (Fox) and The Last Kingdom (Netflix). 

Ella will soon be seen as the lead in Nida Manzoor's feature film Polite Society. 

Ella’s theatre credits include performing with provocative theatre company ThisEgg at Camden People's Theatre and anarchic comedy The Noble Nine at VAULT Festival.

She speaks fluent French, after having lived in Paris for two years. She can also speak conversational Italian.

Ella writes, sings and performs with her band ‘Marry Me Emelie’, who are currently recording their first EP.
