Role Eliza
Producer Garrick Theatre Director Philip Prowse

Kara played the notorious leading role of Eliza Doolittle in the West End transfer of Philip Prowse's production that originated at the Chichester Festival Theatre.

Eliza is the original ladette to lady; a cockney flower seller taken under the tutelage of the upstanding Professor Higgins  for a bet and fashioned into a society belle with perfect received pronunciation.

The production ran for four month in the West End with Alistair McGowan taking over from Rupert Everett in the role of Professor Higgins.
