Kilian Riedhof is one of Germany's most high profile and in demand television directors. One of his biggest successes was the TV movie Homevideo, which received more than 30 awards worldwide, including the German Televison Award, the Grimme Award, the Rose d’Or and the Golden Magnolia in Shanghai. This was followed in 2013 by the feature film debut Back On Track, which became a German box office hit. Kilian's political thriller Fatal News has been awarded several times, including winning the 2016 German Director's Guild Award. His recent work, including the two-part-series 54 Hours, was a huge audience success and has been awarded among others with 3 German Television Awards and the Golden Bird Prize at the Seoul Drama Awards. 54 Hours has been sold abroad widely, for example to BBC 4 and Sundance TV.
