John Hopkins

John works as a development producer and show creator in comedy.

He is currently writing two new shows for the BBC; Nowhere Fast, a vehicle for Tom Davis and Toxic, a spin off sitcom from his comedy sketch show For the Win.

Previously John has worked in a number of development and production positions in the TV and film industry and has collaborated with a number of performers including Richard Glover and Gareth Tunley. Credits include “Ealing Live!”, Dick and Dom’s Funny Business, Funny Plus One and Ewan and Thingy, a spoof of Ewan Mcgreggor and Charlie Boorman’s Long Way Round/Down, which was an internet hit and is still playing on Comedy Central’s TV channel.
