Lucille Howe was born in Brighton, Sussex. After studying Drama at Manchester University, and completing her acting training at Drama Studio London, she began writing regularly for the Mirror newspaper as their go-to girl for challenges the rest of the office deemed too dangerous or embarrassing. She later moved to Sydney where she worked as Features Editor on Cosmopolitan magazine, dyed her hair pink and took up burlesque.
Recently, she was recognised at America’s Magnum Opus Awards for her travel feature, 'Madonna's European Holida-ay', and won a coveted Jasmine Award for Excellence in Fragrance Journalism.
Lucille has been published in The Guardian, Times’ Style, Daily Mail, Mirror, Marie Claire, OK!, Grazia and more. She runs workshops in Creative Writing at Channel 4 Television and moonlights as a host and presenter.
