Anna Ledwich’s Dry Powder at the Hampstead Theatre

Dry Powder, directed by multi-award winning Anna Ledwich, is currently showing at the Hampstead Theatre after entertaining audiences in New York. Boasting an impressive cast, the play stars Hayley Atwell, Aidan McArdle and Tom Riley and will run at the Hampstead until the 3rd March.

Dry Powder is a breathtakingly witty and virtuosic comedy, exploring the vision, the vulnerability, and the vilification of those shaping - and skewing - the economy. Set in the world of high finance the play follows the owner of a private equity firm, Rick, as his business goes into crisis.

Anna Ledwich, returns to direct at the Hampstead following the success of critically acclaimed Labyrinth (Beth Steel), other productions there include Kiss Me (Richard Bean), The Argument (William Boyd), and the Olivier-nominated Four Minutes Twelve Seconds (James Fritz). Anna received the Gate Theatre/Headlong New Directions Award for her adaptation of Frank Wedekind's Lulu in 2010 and was nominated for the 2015 Olivier Award Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre for her production of Four Minutes Twelve Seconds.
