Annie Price has been named on the 2018 BAFTA Breakthrough Brits list. The list names 19 talented newcomers across film, games and television chosen by a jury including Gemma Arterton, George MacKay, Stacy Martin, Nainita Desai, Hossein Amini and Mark Gerhard.
Every year since 2013, the British Academy Of Film and Television Arts has been recognizing the UK's rising talent and offering support as honorees progress through their careers. Previous Breakthrough Brits have gone on to become established stars at home and abroad, meaning that the accolade is prized by emerging talent and the list is scrutinised by the industry.
Annie began her television career in 2016, telling the story of her childhood in the film Annie out of the Ashes for BBC Three. Following on from this, with her characteristic warmth and humour, Annie went on to make Plastic Surgery Capital of the World and Tiredness Tears and Tantrums: Diary Of A New Mum, both for BBC Three.
