Curtis Brown Clients Lead the Nominations for the British Podcast Awards 2020

Several Curtis Brown clients have been nominated for the British Podcast Awards 2020. Established in 2017, the British Podcast Awards were created to showcase the best in British podcasts and talent. The Panel of judges will be chaired by six-time winner George the Poet.

People Just Do Nothing have been nominated for Best Comedy Podcast for their hilarious Kurupt FM Podkast, whilst Howard Sounes' Unheard: The Fred and Rose West Tapes has picked up a nomination for the Best True Crime.

The Deliciously Ella Podcast features in The Spotlight Award category, while etymology show Something Rhymes with Purple, which is co-presented by Curtis Brown client Gyles Brandreth, has made an appearance in the Best Entertainment Podcast category. 

Out to Lunch with Jay Rayner scored a nomination for the Best Interview and Rosie Wilby's The Breakup Monologues is up for the Best Sex & Relationships award.

Finally, the audio anthology HAG commissioned and collated by Audible has been nominated for Best Fiction. Showcasing feminist retellings of fairy and folk tales the anthology features two short stories from Curtis Brown authors, Kirsty Logan and Naomi Booth.

The winners shall be announced via livestream on the evening of Saturday 11th July.
