Ian Barnes’ directs Death in Paradise for BBC One

Episode five of Death in Paradise series 7, which is directed by Oscar and BAFTA nominated Ian Barnes, is available to watch on BBC iPlayer now. 

Season seven of the hit series, Death in Paradise, pulls in a whopping 8.5 million viewers as DI Jack Mooney returns to our screens. Mooney continues to investigate a range of complex and puzzling murders, but this time under the glorious Caribbean sun. 

Ian Barnes is a writer and director for Film and TV. His short film Wish143 was nominated for an Oscar at the 83rd Academy Awards as well as winning at Palm Springs, Rushes Soho Shorts and The British Independent Film Festival. His most recent work has included three episodes of the hugely popular Channel 4 drama Skins for Company Pictures, the Tiger Aspect/SKY comedy Mount Pleasant which received an RTS nomination in 2014 and 2nd unit director on the feature Molly Moon for Amber Entertainment.
