James Graham’s play Quiz is based on the "Coughing Major" scandal and the subsequent court case that erupted around the popular television show Who wants to be a Millionaire? It's a funny, gripping and interactive state of the nation piece about army regular Charles Ingram and his wife Diana who were accused of cheating their way to a million pounds in 2001 which also asks questions (often literally) about justice, populism and the value of truth.
“A brilliant blend of court case and quiz show which asks profound questions about the way the values of light entertainment have distorted our institutions…Quiz is simultaneously joyful entertainment and a profound, knowing work of art” ***** Sarah Crompton, The Stage
“Highly entertaining…full of kaleidoscopic razzmatazz” **** Michael Billington, The Guardian
"Theatre's boy wonder hits the jackpot again...Thoroughly entertaining and sophisticated...Phone a friend and go." **** Dominic Cavendish, The Telegraph
