Joss Agnew directs Poldark Season 4

Joss Agnew directs the first and final block of the 4th season of Poldark, which airs Sunday 10th June at 9pm on BBC1.

Poldark is based on the series of twelve historical novels written by Winston Graham between 1945 and 1953. The fourth season will cover the end of the sixth book and the entirety of the seventh book in Graham’s series, which will run up to Christmas 1799. While remaining Cornwall-based, the show will feature more of London as Poldark heads to Westminster.

He has also directed on further prime-time shows such as Mr Selfridge, Law & Order: the UK and the dark action-based drama Jekyll and Hyde starring Tom Bateman and Richard E Grant. Previously, in the challenging area of Children's drama Joss' inventive work on The Sarah Jane Adventures, The Story of Tracy Beaker and Young Dracula has earned him 3 RTS Awards.
