Mick Kitson's Sal nominated for FNAC Book Award

Mick Kitson's debut novel, Sal, has been nominated for the FNAC Book Award 2018. The FNAC Book Award, a French literary award, was established in 2002 and is adjudicated by a jury of 800 members and booksellers.

Sal will be published in France on 30th August, under the title Manuel de survie à l'usage des jeunes filles. Mick Kitson departed from his background as a journalist and teacher to tell the story of plucky Sal, who gains survival skills beyond her years to protect her younger sister Pippa.
