Nominations for the 2018 Olivier Awards have been announced.
Girl from the North Country, written and directed by Conor McPherson, receives 5 nominations, including Best New Musical.
James Graham receives two nominations: Labour of Love, directed by Jeremy Herrin, for Best New Comedy, and Ink for Best New Play. Ink also picks up nominations for Best Director, Best Set Design, and Best actor in a supporting role.
Killology, written by Gary Owen and directed by Rachel O’Riordan, is nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Affiliate Theatre.
Dry Powder, directed by Anna Ledwich is also up for Best New Comedy.
Jamael Westman picks up a nomination for Best Actor in a Musical for his performance in Hamilton.
On The Town is up for Best Musical Revival with Drew McOnie as Director/Choreographer and Tom Deering as Musical Supervisor and Conductor.
Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, cast by Will Burton, receives 5 nominations; including Outstanding Achievement in Music, with Theo Jamieson
as Musical Director.
