Aug 2, 2017

Joshua Henkin’s insightful novel exploring how a family cope with the death of their youngest son whilst on assignment in Iraq has been adapted by screenwriter Dan Pulick. Damon Shalit will direct, with Bradley LaRocco and Charles Mudd producing, and the film will star Rhadha Mitchell, James Tupper and Chris Mulkey.

Set in 2005, The World Without You follows the Frankel family over the course of three days as they gather to memorialize Leo, their son, an intrepid journalist and adventurer. The book investigates the effect of loss on the family and its ability to force change and transformation.
