Three Women tops Der Spiegel Bestseller List

Lisa Taddeo's Three Women has achieved the coveted #1 position on Der Spiegel’s hardcover bestseller list in Germany. Published by Piper Verlag as Drei Frauen, the book initially charted at #3 on the basis of its first day’s sales, and climbed to the top spot the third week of publication. Three Women’s success in Germany marks the third time Lisa Taddeo’s debut has achieved #1 bestseller status, following identical listings in The Sunday Times and The New York Times.

The book was researched and written over course of eight years by Taddeo, an award-winning journalist and longtime contributor to New York and Esquire, who embedded herself with three ordinary women to write a deeply immersive account of their erotic lives and longings. The result — shocking, powerful, and timely — has won praise from Dave Eggers, Elisabeth Gilbert, Gillian Anderson, Jojo Moyes and many more.

Three Women is published by Bloomsbury UK, Avid Reader / Simon & Schuster US, and in thirty languages worldwide.
