Tomi Adeyemi earns another shortlisting for Children of Blood and Bone

Children of Blood and Bone, the debut novel by Tomi Adeyemi has earnt a shortlisting on the Deutscher Phantastik Preis, the German Fantasy Awards, in the ‘Best International Novel’ category. This follows the recent success for the Spanish edition, which won the Celsius award at the prestigious science-fiction and fantasy literary festival.

Described as ‘a brutal, beautiful take of revolution, faith, and star-crossed love’ this follows the abundant success of Children of Blood and Bone both in English and translation. Children of Blood and Bone has been sold in over 30 languages and has featured on the New York Times Bestseller list for 80 weeks. Book 2 of the series, Children of Virtue and Vengeance will be published in December this year and director Rick Famuyiwa has been assigned to the film adaptation of Children of Blood and Bone.
