Georgia Pritchett won the award for Outstanding Comedy Series as part of the Veep writing team at the Emmy's last night.
The HBO show took home the award for the third year in a row. It follows former Senator Selina Meyer, who finds that being Vice President is nothing like she hoped and everything that everyone ever warned her about.
Georgia is a writer and co-executive producer on the show. As well as working on Veep Georgia has written extensively for Miranda Hart and Tracey Ullman and shows like Have I Got News For You and The Thick of It. She has original comedies in development with ABC, HBO, Channel 4 and the BBC.
