Beattie is a comedy writer performer best known for Disney family entertainment feature film Patrick and three series of BBC3’s sitcom Josh. In May 2021, Beattie will star in new BBC One drama The Pursuit of Love starring Lily James and written and directed by Emily Mortimer. She is also one third of comedy sketch group Birthday Girls whose podcast Birthday Girls’ House Party is available on BBC Sounds now.
