Flore Vesco was born the year that Raiders of the Lost Ark was released: a sure sign she was destined to become a modern day adventurer. As with any heroine, her road was strewn with pitfalls: her home was twice flooded, she taught French to middle school pupils, spent a winter in Slovakia and has tried to pass her driving licence five times. Having survived all these hardships, she now considers herself seasoned enough to make a living out of writing novels.
She’s previously written L’estrange malaventure de Mirella (2019), awarded the prestigious YA Vendredi Prize, and De Cape et de mots (2015). Her latest novel, D'or et d'oreillers (2021), was longlisted for the YA Vendredi Prize.
