Originally from Taiwan, Henry Lien graduated from Clarion West in 2012, where he started writing  Peasprout Chen, Future Legend of Skate and Sword under the guidance of Chuck Palahniuk, George R.R. Martin, and Kelly Link. His short fiction has appeared in Asimov's and Analog, and has been nominated for a Nebula. 


Previously an attorney, he currently works as a fine art dealer and college instructor. He lives in California.
