Australian author Jennifer Scoullar writes page-turning fiction about the land, people and wildlife that she loves. In her former life Jennifer worked as a lawyer, first with the National Crime Authority, and later on with Legal Aid. She lives with her family on a farm in the southern Victorian ranges, on a hilltop overlooking valleys of messmate and mountain ash. Jennifer has ridden and bred Australian stock horses all her life.
Scoullar’s published novels include Brumby’s Run (PRH 2012), Currawong Creek (PRH 2013; finalist in the RWA Romantic Book of the Year award), Billabong Bend (PRH 2014), Turtle Reef (PRH 2015), Journey’s End (PRH 2016), and the historical Tasmanian series, Fortune’s Son (PRH 2017), The Lost Valley (Ulverscroft) and The Memory Tree (Ulverscroft, forthcoming).
