Jim is a music programmer and designer who works across the music industry, theatre, tv & film.

Having spent his early career as a touring/recording keyboard player/programmer for numerous artists including The Pretenders, The Charlatans, Del Amitri, and David Gray to name a few, Jim decided to concentrate more on the record production side of the industry. As part of Eliot Kennedy’s Grammy winning team at The Steelworks, Jim has written/produced records for artists as diverse as The Wanted, The Brand New Hevies, Geri Halliwell, Donny Osmond and everything in between. Having worked on numerous projects together, in 2014 Jim was asked by composers Gary Barlow and Eliot Kennedy to become part of the creative team for the new musical “Finding Neverland”. Brought in specifically for his pop sensibility, Jim provided all electronic music design/programming for the show. All the way from workshop, through to the successful 18 month Broadway run and subsequent US/Japan tours Jim has worked alongside Tony Award winners Dianne Paulus (director) and David Chase (music supervisor). In 2016, Jim was Synth/Sampling Programmer on Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom The Musical which has taken in The West Yorkshire Playhouse, Toronto and now The Piccadilly Theatre in The West End.
