The Duke of York Theatre
Joshua McGuire reprised his role in the West End revival of Laura Wade’s Posh at the Duke of York's Theatre in 2012.
Laura Wade's satire focuses on ten privileged undergraduate members of The Riot Club (a thinly veiled version of Oxford University’s infamous Bullingdon Club). They gather in the private function room of a rural gastropub, where a ten-bird roast and individual binbags await them and lead to snobbish braying and aristocratic insurgence. Joshua plays Guy, the son of a liberal newspaper editor who has rejected his father's politics for something more right wing. Lyndsey Turner directs.
Joshua plays Guy Bellingfield, a zealous fledging member of the Riot Club, and was described as "the new Tom Hollander" by critic Michael Coveney during the original run.
