Writer for Television, Radio, and Theatre

Kelly Jones is a writer for television, radio and the stage. She developed and wrote the recent four-part ITV crime drama The Long Call. Based on the novel by Ann Cleeves, the series stars Ben Aldridge and Juliet Stevenson. Other credits include acclaimed ITV drama Des starring David Tennant, and BBC One crime thriller Baptiste. Kelly has also written on The Spanish PrincessCall The Midwife, and Our Girl, and was previously a core writer on Casualty.

She holds a Masters degree in English from Oxford University, where she specialised in Dickens and film adaptation, and has studied screenwriting at the New York Film Academy.
