Playwright and screenwriter
Louise is a writer and actress from the Lake District. Her debut play, Cockamamy won the Lustrum Award for Outstanding New Play at The Edinburgh Fringe 2017. It transferred to The Hope Theatre, London in 2018 to rave reviews, also winning her an Offie nomination for Best Actress.
Louise is currently developing Cockamamy into a screenplay and working on her next play Bitter which was shortlisted for the Phil Fox Award for Playwrighting. Louise has also recently been longlisted for the Sky Studios Screen/Play award.

Published in Litro Magazine, this short play explores the futility of love by observing two fumbling youths moments after losing their virginity to one another.

Inspired by Kay Adshead’s Bogus Woman, this poetical piece explores the journey of a refugee to a foreign land.
