Writer for theatre, film and television

An alumnus of the Royal Court and Soho Theatre Writers Groups and the National Film & Television School, Lydia was awarded the Funny Women Writing Award in 2019.

With a background in development and script editing for West End theatre, Lydia's first play The Buzz was finalist in the Bread & Roses Playwriting Award and was subsequently published. Her next play, Hear Me Howl, was a Time Out top pick of VAULT Festival and described by The Stage as 'brutally funny and refreshing'.

She is currently developing original TV projects with companies such as Ubisoft Film & TV and Various Artists Limited and is mentored by screenwriter/showrunner Kirstie Swain (Pure, Run, Sweetpea).
