Malcolm starred opposite Joely Richardson as Doctor Wangel in the Rose Theatre's production of Henrik Ibsen's The Lady From the Sea.

Wangel's young wife Ellida promised herself to another man ten years ago. Now living with Doctor Wangel and his two daughters, Ellida feels restless and claustrophobic and finds herself upon the precipice of a life changing decision as the young man comes back to claim her.
