Silverberg
Fiction and non-ficiton writer
Robert Silverberg was born in New York in 1935 and is the only science fiction writer to have won awards over six decades, from the 1950s to the 2000s.
Robert has won several Hugo and Nebula awards and many of his earlier novels - such as Dying Inside (Scribner 1972), Downward to Earth (Gollancz 1977), The World Inside (Doubleday 1971) and Shadrach in the Furnace (Gollancz 1977) - have been re-issued as modern science fiction classics. Recent novels include Roma Eterna (Eos 2003).
Robert has also written numerous non-fiction titles.
