Soulla
Tantouri Eriksen

Playwright and writer for radio, film and television

Soulla is a graduate (with distinction) of the Liverpool University Screenwriting MA – having left secondary school teaching to pursue her dream of writing for the screen.

Her first feature script placed in the top 10% of more than 6,000 scripts for The PAGE International Awards, and in the top 20% for the Academy Nicholl Fellowship.

In 2014 her radio play Time Out was a finalist for the prestigious BBC Radio 4 Alfred Bradley Award, and in 2016 Soulla took part in both the BBC Casualty and EastEnders shadow schemes.

Soulla has since worked in two writers’ rooms with Darrall Macqueen on an original animation for Netflix and a new live-action show for CBeebies, and is currently working on two original series ideas for television.

This year Soulla founded and will produce Finger Food Shorts - an evening of six new plays written by established and emerging writers in Liverpool.
