2021 Nominations for BAFTA TV

Nominations for the 2021 BAFTA TV Awards have been announced, honouring Curtis Brown clients across the range of categories.

Lauren Evans has been nominated for Scripted Casting for her work on Sex Education.

Sitting in Limbo, directed by
Stella Corradi, has been nominated for Single Drama.

In the Drama Series category, I Hate Suzie produced by Andrea Dewsbury, Save Me Too directed by Jim Loach, and Gangs of London story produced by Kam Odedra, have all been nominated.

This Country, directed by Tom George and produced by Simon Mayhew-Archer, is nominated for Scripted Comedy, along with Inside No. 9 directed by Matt Lipsey, and Man Like Mobeen created and written by Guz Khan and Andy Milligan.

I May Destroy You produced by Simon Meyers, received a nomination for Mini Series.

Rosie Westhoff directed The Main Part which has been nominated in the Short Form Programme category.

Carl Joos wrote on Gangs of London, nominated for Best Drama Series

Paul Mescal and Paapa Essiedu received nominations for Leading Actor, for their roles in Normal People and I May Destroy You.


Billie Piper is nominated for Leading Actress for her performance in the Sky Atlantic drama I Hate Suzie.

Weruche Opia has been nominated for her performance of Terry in I May Destroy You, in the Supporting Actress category.

For their performances in Man Like Mobeen and Sex Education, Guz Khan and 

Ncuti Gatwa received nominations for Male Performance in a Comedy Programme.

Emma MackeyGbemisola Ikumelo and Mae Martin have been nominated for Female Performance in a Comedy Programme for Sex Education, Famalam and Feel Good.

Bradley Walsh received a nomination for Entertainment Performance and Daytime Programme for The Chase.

Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing is nominated in the Features category, starring Paul Whitehouse and The Great House Giveaway starring Simon O’Brien is nominated in the Daytime category.

The winners will be announced in a ceremony on the 6th June.
