Chloe Thomas directs the opening block of the the second series of Hetty Feather which premieres on CBBC on Tuesday, 10th May.
Abandoned as a baby at a foundling hospital in late Victorian England, the series follows the drama and shenanigans of Hetty Feather through the eyes of her friends. An adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson’s novel of the same title, the new series promises more rebellious hijinks as Hetty dreams of escaping the control of the hospital matron to find her birth mother.
Lexie Benbow-Hart joins the new series as Eliza, Hetty’s younger foster sister, while Eleanor Worthington-Cox reprises her role as series Polly. Eleanor was recently nominated for a TV BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress based on her performance in The Enfield Haunting (Sky Living) opposite Timothy Spall.
Chloe’s previous credits include directing Give Out Girls for Comedy Central and Sadie J, and Horrible Histories.
