Matt Haig's A Boy Called Christmas comes to the big screen

A Boy Called Christmas, the live-action adaptation of Matt Haig's bestselling children's book of the same name, is now out in theaters and available to watch on Sky.

The film tells the origin story of Father Christmas: as a young boy Nikolas sets off on an adventure to the north pole to find his father, who in turn is searching for the village of the elves. Nikolas is accompanied by Blizten the reindeer and a loyal house mouse. 

The book was adapted for the big screen by OI Parker and Gil Kenan who also directed the film. Jim Broadbent, Sally Hawkins and Kristen Wiig star along Maggie Smith, Toby Jones, Zoe Colletti, Michiel Huisman, Henry Lawfull, Rune Temte and Indica Watson.
