Kara Tointon and Artem Chigvintsev have been crowned the champions of the eighth series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Following 12 weeks of gruelling training and live shows the couple beat TV presenter Matt Baker to the title after receiving the highest number of votes from the British public.
Kara and Artem impressed the judges with four routines including a Rumba which won them top scores from the judges, a Viennese Waltz to Cry Me A River, a stunning show dance to Queen's Don't Stop Me Now, and elegant American Smooth.
Judge Alexsha Dixon praised Kara saying she was "the most exquisite dancer I've ever seen on Strictly".
Bruno Tonioli went on to say: "You danced to a level that we hardly ever see here. Whatever happens, this was incredible."
The final also saw the return of this series' eliminated contestants who took to the floor one final group dance to Paloma Faith performing her single Upside Down.
