Coline Pierré's Pourquoi Pas La Vie longlisted for the Prix Orange du Livre 2022

Coline Pierré's Pourqoui Pas La Vie has been longlisted for the Prix Orange du Livre 2022, or the Orange Book Prize. Pourquoi Pas La Vie is a clever and imaginative tale about the legendary writer Sylvia Plath, and what might have happened to her had she not committed her all-too-famous suicide in 1963.

Chaired by Jean-Christophe Rufin, the longlisted Orange Book Prize novels must be written in French and published in France between 1st January and 31st March 2022. This award shines a light on outstanding work by emerging and debut writers. The jury - which comprises booksellers, writers and readers - will meet again on 18th May to select the shortlist.
