Richard Warlow’s fifth and final season of Ripper Street begins on BBC Two

Richard Warlow’s fifth and final season of Ripper Street will return to BBC2 on June 19 at 9pm.

The period detective crime drama returns to Whitechapel where a new regime has been established in the police force. Detective Inspector Jedediah Shine continues as Inspector Reid's deadly foe.

Richard Warlow, lead writer, creator and executive producer of Ripper Street, is currently developing projects with Mammoth, Kudos, ITV and DNA.

Ripper Street will also see the return of Matthew Lewis as Sergeant Drummond. Matthew recently starred in the second series of Happy Valley and the widely acclaimed film adaptation of Jojo Moyes' Me Before You.

Richard’s original series can be seen on BBC2 every Monday at 9pm. Series five premiered on October 12th on Amazon prime.
