Sherwood, written and created by James Graham comes to the BBC


The brand new six-part, thriller drama lands on the BBC on the 13th of June, written and created by James Graham. James’ previous works include the highly popular play and TV show Quiz, This House, which was nominated for an Olivier Award, and 6-time Tony Nominated INK.
 
Sherwood is set in James’s hometown of Nottinghamshire and based on the true story of two unconnected murders in the area in 2004. The series focuses on a divided police force, a relentless manhunt and a killer tormenting an already fractured Nottinghamshire community.
 
Starring Robert Glenister as DI Kevin Sailsbury, Philip Jackson as Mickey Sparrow, and Chloe Harris as PC Kirsty Dove. Featuring Joel Morris, Sunetra Sarker, and Sally Messham.

Episode 1 out now followed by episode 2 on Tuesday the 14th, with each episode coming out weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays on BBCE One at 9pm.
