Tom Sturridge wages war in The Hollow Crown

Tom Sturridge plays Henry VI opposite Judi Dench and Benedict Cumberbatch in the latest installment of the BBC's The Hollow Crown, directed by Dominic Cooke.

The War of the Roses retells Shakespeare's bloody tales of Henry VI Part 1, Henry VI Part 2, and Richard III.

Tom is joined by Phoebe Fox, who plays Princess Anne and Sam Valentine as Grey. Matthew Needham plays Basset with Madison Lygo as Princess Elizabeth, Jamie Ballard as Peter and Pandora Colin as Shepherd's Wife.

Catch the first episode on Saturday 7th May, on BBC2 at 9pm.
